2021年11月15日下午，德国卡尔斯鲁尔大学Luis Covas博士为德语系高年级开展国情专题讲座。他以刻板印象如“德国人都特别守时“为例，引发同学反思刻板印象和文化割裂的问题。Covas博士的报告对同学们启发颇多，有助于学生进一步了解德语国家的社会文化背景，在掌握德语语言的同时，提升自身文化意识和文化素养。
On November 15, 2021, Dr. Luis Covas from the University of Karlsruhe gave a lecture on national conditions to the senior students of German Department. He took stereotypes like “Germans are all very punctual” as an example to make students reflect on this phenomenon and the hidden problem of cultural seperation. Dr Covas' lecture was very enlightening. It helped the students learn more about the social and cultural background of German-speaking countries. In this way, they can not only raise cultural awareness but also improve cultural literacy while mastering the language skills.
